Nine months to race day

The Road to London

This isn't the first mile, and it won't be the last. Getting to the start line in London means months of early mornings, long runs, and training through whatever the weather throws at me — all building toward one goal: crossing this finish line for Joan, and getting one race closer to completing the Abbott World Marathon Majors.

Every training run, every early alarm, every sore muscle has led here. This is the road to London — and one more step toward the Majors.

Why London

London is the 2nd stop on my Abbott World Marathon Majors journey — one of the six most iconic marathons in the world, and one of the biggest stages I could ask for to run in Joan's honor. There's something fitting about tackling one of the toughest, most legendary courses out there for someone who never backed down from a fight.

One of the six Majors, one of the world's great marathon stages — and the perfect place to run for someone who never gave up.
